Pure Ludington BrrrewFest January 25
January 25, 2020
A sure-fire way to beat cabin fever is with Ludington's premier winter event... the Pure Ludington Brrrewfest! It will be held Saturday, January 25th, 2020 from 1-6pm in Ludington's Rotary Park. More than 20 breweries will come to Ludington to offer patrons a taste of the best and most unique flavors of beers, wines, and meads from all around Michigan.
Tickets are $25/person in advance online or $30/at door, and include six drink tokens and a 5oz. commemorative tasting glass. Each token is good for 5 oz. of beer or cider. Five additional tokens can be purchased for $5. Purchase advance tickets online at eventbrite.com. Live music will be provided by Rusty Horse, with the opening act by Mike Lenich, and food from The Q Smokehouse will be available for purchase.
The beneficiary of Pure Ludington Brrrewfest are the Friends of the Ludington State Park.

A Boozy Breakfast kicks off the day at Barley & Rye from 9-11am. The event features a variety of dishes such as breakfast bowls, quesadillas, burritos and biscuits and gravy. Drink specials like beer-mosas, mimosas, Bloody Marys, Irish coffees and a few other fun cocktails will also be offered. Barley & Rye will also have their traditional cocktails and some non-alcoholic options.
Guided snowshoe hikes are at 2pm and 6pm at the Ludington State Park, with the evening hike along a lantern-lit trail. Several snowshoes are available for borrowing on a first-come, first-serve basis. Meet at the warming shelter for the 90-mninute hike.
A 4.3 mile fat tire single track trail is groomed by the Shoreline Cycling Club at the Ludington School Forest, off Sherman Street/Tinkham Avenue and Jebavy Drive. The School Forest also offers a sledding hill and a walking path for cross country skiing and showshoeing.
Ludington is making a name for itself with two breweries in town and other popular bars. Ludington is also the venue for the Suds on the Shore Craft Beer & Wine Festival, usually held mid-August and Downtown Ludington's Octoberfest.
