Grapes & Grains in Pentwater

September

Every September, just as the summer is coming to an end, hundreds of people flock to Pentwater for the Grapes & Grains event. Formerly called "Art & Wine at the Harbor," it was renamed in 2014 because of the addition of craft beer. Held at Snug Harbor Marina from 2-5pm, this popular event features musical entertainment, delicious appetizers, and sampling of various wine and craft beer. You can also view some spectacular art, with the opportunity to bid on your favorite pieces during the art auction.

The proceeds from this annual event benefits Harbor Hospice, an organization that provides care to terminally ill patients and their families. Based in Muskegon and serving the communities along the western Lake Michigan shoreline, Harbor Hospice brings hope and dignity to the dying, as well as comfort and support to the families.

Tickets to Grapes & Grain are $30 in advance and $35 at the gate, which gives you 12 vouchers. Each voucher is good for a 4 oz. pour of craft beer/cider or a 2 oz. pour of wine...and guests receive a souvenir glass. You can purchase additional vouchers for $1. This event is only for those 21 and older (a valid ID must be shown).

Mark September for the Grapes & Grains event. It's not only an enjoyable way to spend your afternoon, but it benefits a great cause.
